Vol. I · Updated June 2026 · Editorial Charter

The charter.

The editorial standards behind every listing on TheLobsterFinder.

I. Voice, Who "the team" are

the team is a collective byline, not a single person.

We keep it straight, honest and a little fun. Listings stand on public data, rating, review volume, business status, and nothing else.

II. Independence, What we will not do

We will not accept payment to add a spot. Every entry is independently researched, then filtered by rating thresholds. The only commercial relationship we accept is a transparent, monthly Featured placement, clearly labeled, never blended into the editorial ranking.

We will not accept payment to remove a spot. If a listing is inaccurate, we fix the data. If it no longer meets our thresholds, we delist it quietly in the next refresh.

Every listing on the platform is free. The only criterion to be listed is a minimum of 20 Google reviews with a rating of at least 4. That's it.

III. Corrections, Standing behind the work

If we get something wrong, a closed spot, a misattributed review count, a stale address, write to us and we'll correct it in the next refresh cycle, usually within a week.

Every correction is silently logged with a timestamp. We don't publish a public corrections page because the refresh cadence handles it organically, but if you want a correction recorded, tell us and we'll note it.

IV. Editorial boundary, What we are not

TheLobsterFinder is an independent editorial directory. It is not a booking service, a reservation system, or an official representative of any venue. Listings are informational and based on publicly available sources; details change, so confirm with the venue before you go.

Where a spot makes specific claims, we link to the source and let readers judge. We never endorse an outcome.
